Dorothy M. (Hale) McKee

Dorothy M. (Hale) McKee, 79, of Duncansville, passed away Sunday at her residence. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Walls) Hale. She married Edward R. McKee in 1963, he preceded her in death in 2012.

Surviving are two sons: Mark and wife Rhonda of East Freedom, and Matt and wife Trisha of Roaring Spring; four grandchildren: Kristen, Dylan, Eric, and Alexis; and a great granddaughter, Aurora; and two sisters: Gladys Estep and Linda Birely. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua, and five brothers: Melvin, Alvin, Ron, Daniel, and Fred. Dorothy retired from the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg in Housekeeping, and she attended Grace Fellowship Church in Leamersville. She enjoyed doing puzzles and going yard-saling with a special niece, Mona.

Friends will be received from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday September 30, 2020 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 pm, Pastor Mark Lingenfelter officiating. Interment at Blair Memorial Park.
