Edna M. (Knipple) Yeager

May 30, 1939 – March 16, 2025

Edna M. (Knipple) Yeager, 85, of Altoona, passed away Sunday at Hilltop Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Juniata, daughter of the late William and Alma (Stambaugh) Knipple.

Surviving are 5 daughters: Debbie Korte (Steve), Cindy Kutruff (Steve) Robin Shomo, Flo Vahey (Don), and Sue Shumaker; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam.

She enjoyed spending time with family.

Friends will be received from 4-6pm on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 6pm with Rev Dr. John A. Godissart officiating.

Private interment in Blair Memorial Park.
