Elizabeth Butler Obituary

Elizabeth Mae (Schmidt) Butler, 86, Everett, formerly of Martinsburg, passed away Saturday at Pennknoll Village.

She was born in Louisiana, daughter of the late Conrad J. and Bertha (Morise) Schmidt. In 1954, Liz married Richard L. Butler in Las Vegas, Nev., and he preceded her in death in 2017.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She retired from Dayton Water Company after 25 years as a secretary. She enjoyed traveling, painting, and gardening.

Liz was an active member of St. John's United Church of Christ.

At Liz's request, there will be no public services. Private interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg. Cremation service provided by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
