Elizabeth A. Diehl, 59, of Duncansville, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of William Tillett and Carol Wyerman. She married Larry Diehl in 1992.
Surviving are her husband of 28 years; children: Ellen Elizabeth of State College, Isaac Lawrence of Hollidaysburg, Michael A. Moran of Duncansville; two grandchildren: William and Rylynn; her mother and stepfather, Charles, of Hollidaysburg, and father of Lancaster; sisters: Ruth Grissom and Dorothy Mitchell, both of Hollidaysburg, and a step-sister, Penny Basom, in NC.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Wyerman in 2012, a half-sister, Heather Tillett in 2015, and stepmother, Carole Tillett in 2007.
She graduated from Hollidaysburg High School and served in the US Army where she was an expert marksman. Through her military career, she got to travel to Hawaii, South Korea, Germany, which brought many memorable and dear experiences for her. She then continued her patriotic duty during the Army with over ten years in the Reserves.
Beth was employed in various Secretarial roles over the years and she had been a caretaker for her great aunt and grandfather.
She enjoyed traveling, the beach, camping, picnics, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She loved keeping up with the happenings and successes of her loved ones and she had a knack for always being in the know of things. More than anything, she just loved being in the company of her family and friends. They were everything to her and she will be greatly missed by all those that had the pleasure of being touched by her life.
All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg with an internment at Carson Valley Cemetery to be announced at a later date to extended family and friends.
