Ellen M. (Imler) McMullen

May 21, 1958 - May 18, 2024

Ellen M. (Imler) McMullen, 65, of Altoona, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late James and Mildred (Walls) Imler. She married Rickey A. McMullen, who preceded her in death in 2008, after sharing 33 years of marriage.

Surviving are her partner, Billy Bonsell of 16 years; two daughters: Georgianne M. Esposito and husband, Brad, of Duncansville and Carrianne M. Calhoun and husband, Jason, of York; two sons: Michael and wife, Laurie, of Martinsburg and Rick and wife, Jeannette, of Hollidaysburg; a brother Ralph; a sister Mary; ten grandchildren; one great-grandson; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Bob, and two sisters, Mary Jane, and Cecelia.

Ellen graduated from Altoona High School in 1978 and retired as a loom operator from Juniata Fabrics.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and collecting teddy bears, and her dog, Gizmo.

Friends will be received from 10 am to 12 pm Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 12pm.

Private interment at Alto Reste Park.
