Florence M. (Walter) Burket, 94, of Claysburg, passed away Thursday. She was born in Imler, daughter of the late Roy A. and Elda M. (Eicher) Walter. She married Frank S. Burket on November 15, 1946, who preceded her in death on April 5, 2010.
Surviving are a son-in-law, Thomas H. Lantz, of Hollidaysburg; two grandsons: Thomas S. and wife, Amy, of Duncansville, and Bradley J. and wife, Kelsey, of Altoona; a great-granddaughter, Taylor Lantz; and two nieces: Diana Walter-Dively and Ramona Hoover.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ricki P. Lantz in 2018; a brother, William “Willie” Walter; and a sister, Mable Dodson.
Florence graduated from Greenfield-Kimmel High School. She was a member of American Legion Post 113 Ladies Auxiliary and Claysburg Alumni Association.
Florence enjoyed attending Claysburg Community Days. She loved traveling and bus trips with her husband and friends.
All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
Interment at St. Mark’s Cemetery.
