August 27, 1943 – July 7, 2025
Frank Pallott, Jr. 81 of Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg, PA passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025. Born on August 27, 1943 in New castle, PA he was the son of the late Frank Pallott, Sr. and Thelma Miller Pallott Lester.
Frank was a 1961 graduate of New Castle High School and proudly served in the United States Navy beginning in 1963. He completed a tour in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1967. He was proud to be a veteran. Following his military service, Frank dedicated many years as a volunteer Fire Policeman with the Swatara Township Fire and Rescue and worked at M&M Mars in Elizabethtown, Pa were he subsequently retired. He was affectionately known as the “Candyman” by family and friends.
Frank was a member of the Ward Ave Presbyterian Church. He was an avid golfer and a devoted Pittsburgh Steeler fan, though his love for sports extended to nearly every game and season. Frank never met a stranger wherever he happened to be.
Frank will be deeply missed by his loving family: brother Jack and wife Becky Lester; sister Peggy and husband Wayne Blair; and sister Cindy LaRocque. He was also a cherished Uncle to three nephews, two nieces, and six great-nephews all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
A memorial service to celebrate Frank’s life will be held at a later date.
