Franklin Chilcote Obituary

Franklin D. Chilcote, 86, Altoona, died Thursday at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Robert and Margaret (Parsons) Chilcote.

He married Iska I. Valentin in 1974, and she preceded him in death in 2018.

Surviving are two daughters: Christine Fortunato and Amanda Chilcote; and three sons: Christian, Christopher and Creighton; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2020, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
