Gary J. Beck

Gary J. Beck, 72, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Sunday at his residence. He was born in Altoona, son of the late John H. and Mary Helen (Kiewicz) Beck. He married Janet Stefanini in 1970.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years; two sons: Brian and wife Samantha of Alexandria, VA, and Tony of Pittsburgh; and many nieces and nephews.

Gary graduated from Altoona High School in 1967, and served in the US Army.  He retired from Conrail, then retired from Pella Windows in 2018.  He was a former member of the Blair County Car Club, and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Gary enjoyed spending time with his family.

Friends will be received from 4:00 to 6 pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a Vigil service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Thursday at St. Rose of Lima, Fr. Brian Saylor, Celebrant. Interment at Alto Reste Park.
