Gary L. Miller, 80, Hollidaysburg, died Wednesday at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring.
He was born at home in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Elton and Myrtle (Cruse) Miller. He married Joyce K. Greenwood in 1987.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years; two children: Missie Miller and Erik Miller, both of Hollidaysburg; seven stepchildren; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard, of West Chester.
Gary graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1957. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a truck driver than became an equipment operator at Orchard Lane Excavating.
He was a member of the EPR, the NSSA and a former member of the Tuckahoe Valley Militia. Gary volunteered 40 years of reenacting with the 2nd Pa. Reserves Co. F.
In 1974, he participated in the re-building of Fort Roberdeau. Gary enjoyed hunting, blacksmithing and gunsmithing.
Friends will be received from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
