George J. Gill Jr.

George J. Gill Jr., 65, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday at his residence.  He was born in Altoona, son of the late George Sr. and Betty (Webb) Gill.  He married Lisa Lysinger, who preceded him in death in 2018 after sharing 38 years of marriage.

Surviving are daughters: Amanda Noffsker of Altoona, Heidi Lamar (Garrett) of Portage; and sons: George III and Wesley, both of Ashville; four grandchildren: Lilly, Leah, Emma, and Myah.    

George attended Hollidaysburg High School and served in the US Army.

He enjoyed collecting coins and lighters, and working on cars.

Friends will be received from 12-2pm on Sunday October 13, 2024 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm.

Private interment at Blair Memorial Park.
