Hazel M. (Eckard) Shaw

Hazel M. (Eckard) Shaw, 85, of Hollidaysburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday.  She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late George and Pearl (Clapper) Eckard.  She married William E. Shaw Sr. in 1959.

Surviving are her husband of 66 years; a daughter, Patsy A. Moreland in WV; two sons: William E. Jr. in WV, and Michael D. of Altoona; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law: Patricia Shaw and Nancy Saxen.

Hazel was an active member of the Altoona Bible Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and cats.

All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc.
