Helmut Senne Obituary

July 18, 1939 – Oct 12, 2024

Helmut Senne, 85, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday. He was born in Bremen, Germany, son of the late Wilhelm and Gerda (Ebel) Senne. He married Gerlinde B. in 1964, and she preceded him in death in 2009, after sharing 44 years of marriage.

Surviving are a son, William of Mason, OH, and two grandchildren: Sarah and Mark. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda in 2023, and a brother, Hans in 2020.

Helmut graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1958 and retired from the USAF as a linguist in Germany after 27 years service.

He enjoyed travelling, gardening, and Volksmarching.
