Howard Dean Richardson Sr.

June 12, 1938 – April 27, 2026

Howard Dean Richardson Sr., 87, of Altoona, passed away Monday.  He was born in Williamsburg, son of the late Robert and Eleanor (Feltenberger) Richardson.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Phoebe (Wance); two daughters: Fay Denny and Doris Benner; three sons: Howard II, Anthony, and Jamie; many many grandchildren; and a sister, Elsie Snyder.

He was preceded in death by three children: Clair, Mary, and Eleanor; two sisters and four brothers.

Dean served in the Army National Guard and was a butcher and farmer all his life.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

There will be no public services.
