Irene Baughman Obituary

Irene L. (Smith) Baughman, 78, Hollidaysburg, died Saturday at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in East Freedom, daughter of the late Henry and Laura (Shaffer) Smith.

She married Samuel Baughman in 1959, and he preceded her in death in 2017 after 58 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Stephanie of Hollidaysburg; two sons: Samuel of Akron, Pa., and Mike of Altoona; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

At Irene's request, all services will be private.

Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
