Jackson L. Hicks Jr., 68, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Jackson L. Sr. and Louella (Phillips) Hicks. He married Holly Hutchinson in 2002.

Surviving are his wife of 19 years; a son, Justin (Kristal); stepchildren: Amanda, Michael, Chryssy; many grandchildren; a sister, Marcy Lambert (Jody); a brother, Ernie Phillips (Angie); and many nieces and nephews.

Jack retired as a truck driver. He enjoyed glamping, NASCAR, quad riding, and his dog, Lou-Lou. Jack enjoyed reading his Bible and was a prayer warrior for his special niece, Misty Giordano.

There will be no public services at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc.
