James R. Allan Jr., 79, of Altoona, passed away Monday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late James Sr. and Jean (Maines) Allan.
He married Connie Nagle who preceded him in death in 2012 after sharing 44 years of marriage.
Surviving are two daughters: Colleen Moser of Altoona and Cyndi Allan in FL; two grandchildren: Julianna and Charlie; and a sister, Jeana Fleck.
Jim graduated from Altoona High School and served in the USMC, and retired from the US Navy Seabees. He then drove truck for Estes until retiring after 20+ years.
Jim was a member of the Railroad Club and enjoyed model railroading, and spending time with his family.
