James Paul Caldwell

July 11, 1949 – Feb 23, 2024

James P. “Paul” Caldwell, 74, of Duncansville, passed away Friday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late George and Anna Grace (Milling) Caldwell. He married Linda Wright on September 24, 1966.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years; a daughter, Audra Brantner (Merle); three sons: Eric, Brett (Laurie), and Adam Caldwell; three grandchildren: Matt, Vickey, and Kaitlyn; four great grandchildren; a sister, Lori; and a brother, Stephen.

Paul graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1967. He worked as a shipper for Stroehmann Bakery in Altoona and then as a wrapper for Appleton Paper in Roaring Spring.

Paul enjoyed listening to the Beatles, trains, and going to Gettysburg.
