Janet R. (Walter) German, 74, of Altoona, passed away Monday. She was born in Baltimore, daughter of the late William and Miriam (Thompson) Walter. She married Ralph G. German on October 29, 2008.
Surviving are her husband of 13 years; two daughters: Michelle Miles and husband, Jay and Kim Bailey; two stepdaughters: Marsha Cox and Wendy Banas and husband, Chip; four grandchildren: Christopher and fiancé, Emma, Cameron, Carter, and Elexis and fiancé, Dan; and two sisters: Dawn Reid and Debbie Renna.
She was preceded in death by a stepson, Dave German.
Janet retired as an administrative assistant for Whitman Requardt & Associates LLP after 25 years of service.
She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, and traveling to Ocean City, NJ.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2pm Saturday October 8, 2022, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 2pm.
