Janet L. Glass

Janet Louise Glass, 82, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday. She was born in Newry, daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret (Leighty) Glass.    

Surviving is a sister,  Barbara Reilly and her husband, J. Thomas and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: James, Donald (V. Jane Moyer) and Carl;  and two sisters: Mary Elizabeth (Robert) Glass and Ruth Glass.

Janet was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School class of 1959.

She was a past employee of Hollidaysburg Trust, the West Company of Phoenixville, PA, and Hayes Large Architects in Altoona, from which she retired.

Janet had an unwavering compassion and love for all animals.

Friends will be received 10am – noon, Saturday, May 4th 2024, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., where a funeral service will immediately follow at noon. 

Private interment at New St. Mary Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
