Janet L. (Bowmaster) Thomas

Janet L. (Bowmaster) Thomas, 68, of Altoona, passed away Sunday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late John and Betty (McGee) Bowmaster. She married Gary Thomas in 1991.

Surviving are her husband of 30 years; two daughters: Christine and Renee; five grandchildren: Donald, Travis, Anessa, Huner, and Leland; seven great-grandchildren: Evelynne, Lincoln, Oliver, Kaiden, Kobe, Kasen, and Kynzlee; a sister, Jean; and two brothers: John and Jim.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Gerald and Richard. 

Janet graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School in 1971. She worked as a sewing machine operator at Tritex Sportswear for 26 years and then at Carpenter Co. for 15 years.           

Janet attended New Life Community Church.                    

There will be no public services at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.

Interment at Alto Reste Park.
