Janet E. (Powell) Wolf, 84, of Altoona, passed away Monday. She was born in Pinecroft, daughter of the late John and Josephine (Samuels) Powell. She married Robert Wolf, who preceded her in death in 2014, after sharing 47 years of marriage.
Surviving are two sons: Doug of Altoona, and Darren in FL; two grandchildren: Makenna and Gaven and a great-granddaughter, Alaya.
Janet graduated from Bellwood-Antis HS in 1959, and Thomas Jefferson University, where she earned her BS in Nursing.
She worked as a part-time RN and was a homemaker.
Janet enjoyed raising her family and playing pinochle.
