Jeffrey Bernard Datres

May 4, 1950 – April 14, 2022

Jeffrey B. Datres, 71, of Duncansville, passed away Thursday.  He was born in Altoona, son of the late Thomas and Ruth (Mackey) Datres.

Surviving are his wife of nearly 50 years, Bonnie (Jenkins); two sons: Jeffrey W. of Duncansville and Brian of Carrolltown; 8 grandchildren: Amanda, Wayne, Anessa, Desirae, Morgan, Devon, Skyler, Saydee; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Deb Datres and Melissa Conrad; his favorite Aunt Marge Datres; and his best friend, Ed Greenleaf.

Jeff graduated from Hollidaysburg High School and served in the US Navy aboard the USS Lexington.  He retired from CA Shetrom driving 18-wheelers.

He was a member of Blair County Antique Car Club and the Altoona Concordia Society.

Jeff enjoyed bowling, cars shows, racing, and NASCAR.  He loved detailing his car and watching football.  

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
