Jerrie L. (Dubbs) Walk

Jerrie L. (Dubbs) Walk, 76, of Duncansville, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Paul and Ellen (Johnson) Dubbs. She married James M. Walk in 1974.

Surviving are her husband of 50 years; a daughter, Tracie Lytle and husband, Bud; a son, James S. Walk and wife, Dawn; nine grandchildren: Amber, Javannah, Brittany, Scott, Justin, Adrienne, Tyleer, Derick, and Carolynn; nine great grandchildren: Destany, Serenity, Brixton, Samantha, Barrett, Arthur, Theo, Emmy, and Paisley; six nieces: Deb, Diane, Mary, Ellen, Sandy, Gloria; a nephew, Tony; and many extended family members that were dear to her heart.

She was preceded in death by six sisters: Emmabelle Estep, Doris Bell, Virginia Rogers, Clara Smiley, Mary Johnson, and Bernadine Himes.

Jerrie graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1965 and retired from PennDOT as a payroll clerk.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading her Bible and praying, shopping, and playing cards.

Friends will be received from 12 to 2pm Friday April 19, 2024, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm with Pastor Chris Garretson officiating.            

Private interment at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.
