Joan L. Yingling

July 29, 1935 – Nov 14, 2020

Joan L. Yingling, 85, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona. She was born at home in Loop Station, daughter of the late Howard E. and Susan (Dively) Yingling. Surviving are her sister, Bette Smith and husband Gerald of Duncansville; and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings: Leo, Clair, Ray, Kathryn Clapper, Lois Dodson, Luetta Grove, and Josephine.

Joan was a member of the former First Baptist Church in Hollidaysburg. She enjoyed going to the Summit, helping serve meals at her Church, and she loved her friends, family, and neighbors.

Friends will be received from 1-2pm on Wednesday, Nov 18, 2020, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm. Pastor Eleanor Siegrist officiating. Interment at Presbyterian Cemetery.
