Joann Ann (Dennen) Lynn

March 24, 1938 – May 18, 2023

Joann A. Lynn (Jo), 85, formerly of Danville, PA passed away at Garvey Manor in Hollidaysburg, PA.

She was born March 24, 1938, the daughter of the late James and Colette (Smith) Dennen. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James Lynn.    

She was a devout Catholic at St. Joseph Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping, especially craft fairs.  She worked for a number of years at Bon Ton at the Columbia Mall. 

She is survived by one son, Bob (Linda) of Bloomsburg, PA and one daughter, Kathy (Jerry) of Duncansville, PA and grandchildren, Jennifer Marks (Robert), Carrie Donmoyer (Russ), Kirsten Mease (Adam), Keith Lynn (Amanda), Michael Kovach (Patrick) and Jason Kovach along with several great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her husband, Joann was preceded in death by her daughter, Chris Donmoyer in 2015. 

A viewing will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 10 to 11am at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Danville, followed by a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11am with Fr. Andrew St. Hillaire, Celebrant.  Committal will follow in the parish cemetery. 

The family will provide flowers. Donations may be made in Joann’s memory to St. Joseph Church, 68 Center St., Danville, PA 17821, or Garvey Manor, 1037 S. Logan Blvd., Hollidaysburg, PA  16648.
