John R. Butler Sr., 71, of Altoona, passed away Saturday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Richard A. Sr. and Pauline (Biselli) Butler.

He is survived by his wife, Terry, with whom he shard 50 years of marriage; two sons: John R. Jr. and wife, Lori, and Richie and fiancé, Kylie; four grandchildren: Izaak, Quinn, Chance, and Madilyn; and a sister, Barbara McLaughlin

A memorial service with full military honors will be held at 6pm Monday, January 10, 2022, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
