John M. Hinterberger

June 8, 1957 - Sept 4, 2025   

John M. Hinterberger, 68, of Hollidaysburg passed away Thursday surrounded by family after a prolonged illness. He was born in Altoona, son of the late John C. and Theresa (Mottner) Hinterberger.

Surviving are his daughter, Michelle Lockard and husband, Shane; two sons: Josh and fiancé, Kylie and Shawn; 7 grandchildren; a brother, Rick; and former spouse, Pam Hinterberger.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Hinterberger.           

John was a 1975 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and retired as an autobody tech from Fiore Buick in 2018.                                  

He enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on cars.
