John "Jack" D. Flude

John “Jack” D. Flude, 85, of Hollidaysburg, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday. He was born in Altoona, son of the Late David and Susan (Peters) Flude. He married Georgianna Honsinger who preceded him in death in 2010 after sharing 46 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Kristin Maher and husband Andy of Duncansville; a son, John and wife Katie in NC; three grandsons: Jesse, Cody and Jake, and a great-grandson, Carson; and his girlfriend of 8 years, Nora Keller.  He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Carter.

Jack graduated from Abraham Lincoln HS in 1958, and retired as a Regional Sales Manager at Philips Corp. at 53 years of age.

He was an active member of Altoona Full Gospel Church where he loved helping people.

Jack enjoyed spending time with his family, playing the drums, golfing, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Friends will be received from 10am-12 noon on Thursday, Jan 16, 2025, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 12 noon with Pastor Ron Campbell officiating.

Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery.
