Joseph S. Clemens

Joseph S. Clemens Sr., 61, of East Freedom, passed away Thursday.  He was born in Altoona son of Steve and Alverda (McGuire) Clemens.

Surviving are his wife, Shelia Clemens; a daughter, Samantha; a son, Joseph Jr.; three grandchildren: Kaden, Ariana, and Emma; his parents; three sisters, Roxanna McGuire, Alicia Redinger, and Heather Clemens; three brothers: William McGuire, Steve E. Clemens, and Mark Clemens Sr.; his girlfriend of five years, Donna Miller, and her son, Elijah; and many nieces and nephews who adored him.

Joe graduated from Central High School in 1982 and served in the US Army where he was a heavy-duty recovery mechanic.

He worked mechanical and construction jobs throughout his life.

Joe enjoyed fishing, building and crafting in his workshop, helping his friends and family, and hanging out with his dog, Chaos.

Friends will be received from 3-5pm Monday, March 3, 2025, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 5pm.
