Joseph Stephen Dively, 63, of East Freedom, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness. He was born at Nason Hospital, son of the late Joseph and Vivian (Glass) Dively. Joe was previously married to Jeannine Yeager.
He is survived by his four children: Joseph of Martinsburg, Michael of East Freedom, Kristen Gebhart (Linford) of Clarksville TN, and Angela Kattouf (Anthony) of Altoona; four grandchildren: Ava, Hazen, Kruse, and Theodore; and his beloved beagle, Leia.
Joseph was a 1975 graduate of Central High School and a 2014 graduate of Penn State with a degree in Security Risk Analysis.
Joe was an avid learner, fisherman, and motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed playing guitar, most memorably with his band, Different Mothers.
There will be no public services.
At the request of the deceased, please celebrate his life in private, with a two-drink minimum.
