Sept 21, 1963 – March 23, 2025
Joseph Piacentini, 61, of Altoona, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in New York and was the son of Anna (Rocchiccioli) and the late Enzo Piacentini.
Surviving are his daughter, Juliana Piacentini McGinty and husband Mitchell; a son, Nicholas; and his mother.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hollidaysburg.
Joe liked to travel, especially to Italy, to visit friends and family. He also enjoyed watching sports, including basketball, baseball, hockey, football, and soccer, and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins, the New York Yankees, and the Dallas Cowboys.
Above all, he loved spending time with his family and being a father. He was abundantly proud of his children.
Friends will be received from 4-7pm on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, March 28, 2025 at First United Methodist Church, Hollidaysburg.
