Julie Foor Obituary

Julie A. (LeCrone) Foor, 58, Altoona, died Thursday at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Donald W. and N. Fay (Gailey) LeCrone.

Surviving are her fiance, James Carroll, of Altoona; a son, Dylan Foor and wife, Heather, of Hollidaysburg; a grandson, Carson; five sisters: Vicki Hollern and husband, Bob, of Altoona, Shelly Miller and husband, Kevin, of Duncansville, Kristy Saylor and husband, David, of Roaring Spring, Melissa Locke and husband, Darron, of Portage, and Tricia Civils and husband, Kevin, of Altoona; and many nieces and nephews.

Julie graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School, class of 1979. She worked as an administrative assistant for over 20 years between Protection Services Inc. and Rae-Lyn Enterprises.

She was a member of Newburg Fire Association. Julie was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan.

Friends will be received from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug 20, 2019, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park.
