Kandy A. (Woods) Butler

Kandy A. Butler, age 52, died of natural causes on April 26, 2021, in Sarasota County.

Kandy was born on June 23, 1968 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to parents, Janet (Stiffler) Woods and the late Thomas Woods.

Kandy became a Certified Medical Assistant in 1987. She worked in various medical offices as a medical assistant. She moved to Florida in 1989 and continued to work and develop in the medical field. In 1993 she was employed as a front office administrator and MOHS tech at A.D.H. Dermatology where she worked for 23 years. In 2016, she joined the Dental Care Alliance and was employed as an insurance coordinator.

Kandy was an animal lover and loved to spend her free time on the beach and watching the sunset.

Kandy is survived by her mother Janet; her brothers Kevin and Tracy Woods; sister Vicki Petty and her sons Nicholas and Christopher Butler. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas.

A Memorial Service will be held on May 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory, 422 North Juniata Street, Hollidaysburg PA, 16648. Pastor Grace Marie Ransom officiating.
