Katherine J. (Pastor) Bachtell, 87, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday. She was born in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Frank and Katherine (Kowatic) Pastor. She married Patrick A. Bachtell in 1960.

Surviving are her husband of 61 years; a daughter, Heather Sundell (Eric); a son, Patrick (Liz); five grandchildren: Liam, Sean, Claire, Patrick, and Kathleen; a sister, Joan; three brothers: Frank, Joe, and Steve; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Karry was very devoted to her family.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Newry. Fr. Allen P. Zeth, Celebrant.
