Kathryn J. (Baker) Dutil

January 22, 1935 – September 7, 2023

Kathryn J. Dutil, 88, of Manns Choice, formerly of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday.         

She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Herbert D. and Helene G. (Marks) Baker.

Kathryn married Armand W. Dutil, who preceded her in death in 2007.

Surviving are a daughter, Anita V. Dutil; two sons: William H. (Lisa) and Kenneth H. (Melissa); 14 grandchildren: Christina Zehender (Josh), Helene Oglesby (David), Billy, Dexter, Leilani, Eliott, Brent Dodson, Brian Dodson, Victoria Smith (Tommy), Warren, Storm (Morgan), Chase, Kenny, and Gunnar; and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Maryanne Hakala, Rose Smith, and Edna Yingling; a brother, Joesph Baker, and grandson, Anothony Muriceak.

Kathryn graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School.

She was proprietor of Kathy’s Diner and Kathy’s Concessions at Leighty’s Flea Market.

Kathy attended St. Michael Catholic Church and New Life Alliance Church.

She enjoyed being a foster grandmother, crafts, and basket weaving.    

Friends will be received from 3 to 5pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 5pm with Pastor Ed Jelliff officiating. Private interment at Dutil Cemetery.
