Kenneth ”Crow” Duane Aurandt Sr., passed away May 24, 2023. He was born March 18, 1948, son of the late Daniel Aurandt Sr. and Sarah (Loose).
He is survived by two sons: Kenneth Aurandt Jr. and Joshua (Christina) Aurandt; step-daughter, Rochelle (Stuart) Farringer; grandsons: Todd and Mica Aurandt; and granddaughters: Tia and Katlin McKnight.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah S. (Farringer) Aurandt and son, Todd Daniel Aurandt.
Crow studied at the Pittsburgh Institute to receive a major in computer programming and a minor in welding. But shortly after there he was drafted.
He worked very hard to provide for his own family, as well as he could. He walked back and forth between Williamsburg and Altoona for years regardless of his own people that lived right there and the help they could have provided, but as he always said, “my thoughts and prayers”.
He loved basketball and played for the Williamsburg High School Hall of Fame Team of 1965 – 1966. He was also a very hardworking man.
