Kenneth R. Berkheimer Jr.

Kenneth R. Berkheimer Jr., 68, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Friday, at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Kenneth Sr. and Catherine (Boggs) Berkheimer. He married Vicki Sheppard in 2001, who preceded him in death in 2023 after sharing 22 years of marriage.

Surviving are his three sons: Josh of Hollidaysburg, Andrew Kaehler and wife, Sasha of Duncansville and Dylan Kaehler of Hollidaysburg; and a daughter, Melisa Barclay of Duncansville; and 10 grandchildren: Mason, Madison, Lillian, Nora, Thomas, Savannah, Alyona, Harmony, Mavis, and Paisley; four sisters: Karen Gority, Linda Boslet, Elaine Hershberger, and Paula Rhodes; and ex-wife, Susan Powers.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy J. Berkheimer in 2017.

Ken was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and worked in general maintenance at Hollidaysburg School District.

He enjoyed helping others and fixing things. Ken was deeply loved by his family.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4pm Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg where a memorial service will immediately follow at 4pm.
