Kenneth P. Mielnik

April 12, 1943 - June 13, 2026

Kenneth P. Mielnik, 83, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late Paul P. and Grace Marie (Hoover) Mielnik. He married Susan Fuller in 1975, who preceded him in death in 2016, after sharing 41 years of marriage.

Surviving are a sister, Patricia Ann of Altoona, and a brother, Larry of Hollidaysburg; a niece, Denise Mielnik; and a nephew, Donald Mielnik.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas J. Mielnik.          

Ken was a 1961 graduate of Hollidaysburg HS and obtained a degree at Lock Haven Teacher College and a M.Ed. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

He was a lifetime teacher and retired from Hollidaysburg High School.

Ken enjoyed hunting, golfing, and horse races.      

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.

Private interment at Greenlawn Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
