Kevin L. Nelson

Kevin L. Nelson, 58, of East Freedom, passed away on Wednesday at Nason Hospital. He was born in Waterbury, CT, son of Lynn and Celestia (Horning) Nelson. He married Amy Gunnett in 1985.

Surviving are his wife of 36 years; two daughters: Amanda Marconi and husband Drew, and Andrea; a son, Matthew and wife Joy; seven grandchildren: Andrew, Addyson, Janelle, Alayna, Jude, Samuel, and Natalie; his parents, all of East Freedom; a sister, Jolene Thompson (Dave); and a brother, Steve (Tera).         

Kevin graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School in 1981. He was a partner at Season Aire Inc.

Kevin was a member of Christ Church in Roaring Spring, where he served as an Elder and a Sunday School teacher.         

Kevin enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.       

A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Christ Church, Roaring Spring. Pastor Joel Kletzing officiating.
