Leslie D. Montgomery

Leslie D. Montgomery, 84, of Altoona, passed away Thursday at UPMC Mercy Hospital. He was born in Atlanta, GA.

Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Christine (McKee); a daughter, June Lyons in AL; three sons: Robert and wife Jessica, Joshua, all of Altoona, and Leslie Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Ashville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Scott Rogers.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Rogers and a son-in-law, Jerry Lyons.

Leslie retired as a Pentecostal Pastor after 30+ years service.

He enjoyed watching sporting events, especially the Steelers, and collecting quarters.  Leslie loved the Lord and reading his Bible daily.

Friends will be received from 12 to 2pm, Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 2pm.
