Lewis E. Stoneberger, 70, of Carlisle, passed away at his residence on Thursday. He was born in Mechanicsburg, son of the late Robert and Donna (Henry) Stoneberger.
He married Beth Stanczyk in 1973.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years; a daughter, Summer Bolt and husband Mark of Wellsville; four grandchildren: Fletcher, Flint, Branson, and Barret; a sister, Dinah Deuel; and two brothers: Dennis and Harold.
Lou graduated from Northern York High School in 1970 and served in the US Army.
He retired from Pinnacle Healthcare in maintenance and worked most of his life self employed as a finish carpenter. When he was younger, he worked at Preston Trucking.
Lou was a non-denominational Christian.
He enjoyed hunting, floating the creeks and fishing, and woodworking, and being with his grandkids.
Friends will be received from 2-3pm on Sunday April 23, 2023 at Perry Mennonite reception Center: 350 Green Park Rd, Elliottsburg, PA 17024, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 3pm.
