Linda Anne (Bogansky) Wanco

Feb 8, 1953 - June 16, 2026

Linda Anne (Bogansky) Wanco, 73, of Duncansville, passed away Tuesday after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Freeland, daughter of the late Peter M. and Martha (Konar) Bogansky. She married William G. Wanco, who preceded her in death in 2017.

Surviving are her cousin, Elaine Kapinos and husband David, and their children: Bryan Pallack, goddaughter, Harmonie Clark; best friend, Debbie Sault and husband Mark, and their daughter, Sarah; two goddaughters, Megan and Alyssa Knorr; an aunt, Marie Herness; many beloved family members; and her cherished cat, Willow.

 She retired from PennDOT after 30+ years as an administrative assistant, which she enjoyed greatly.

Linda was a devoted catholic and active in several ministries.

She enjoyed gardening and feeding birds, especially hummingbirds. She had a great love for animals and rescued several Siamese cats.          

Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10am Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at St. Michael Catholic Church, where a funeral Mass will immediately follow at 10am, with Fr. Alan E. Thomas, Celebrant.

Private interment at R.C. Calvary Cemetery, Drums, PA.
