Linda Yon Obituary

Aug 4, 1969 – April 28, 2024

Linda R. Yon, 54, of Altoona, passed away Sunday after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Susan (Kissell) Winston and the late Dale “Billy” Yon.

Surviving are two sisters: Katherine Whitehead and Billie Jo Persing; a brother, Jason Yon, all of Altoona; several nieces and nephews, and her companion, Pat Foster.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Travis, and her step-father, Walter Winston.

Linda attended Altoona High School and enjoyed watching sports on television.
