Lois H. (Jones) Harris

Lois H. (Jones) Harris, 86, of Altoona, passed away Sunday at her residence.  She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Wilson and Hazel (Blissard) Jones.  She married William J. Harris who preceded her in death in 2021 after sharing 62 years of marriage.

Surviving are two sons: Steven and wife Margaret in FL, and Gregory and wife Beverly of Altoona; three grandchildren: Skylar Harris-Brudzinski (Laura), William Harris (Keri), and Jessica Benson (Brett).

She was preceded in death by four sisters: Joanne Becker, Nancy Rabuck, Patricia Wilt, Vina Short.

Lois graduated from Altoona High School in 1957.

She was a member of Daughters of Nile Dorcas Temple No. 129, Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America Jobel Court No. 11, Order of the Eastern Star Hollidaysburg Chapter No. 471.

Lois enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

At the family’s request, there will be no public services.
