Lucas P. Stough, 39, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Presbyterian following a brief illness. He was born in Altoona, son of Donna (Snyder) and the late James A. Stough.
Surviving are his mother and step-father, Dwight Lakner in Maryland; a step-mother, Earlene Stough of Hollidaysburg; sisters: Emily Lakner (Mitch) and Lisa Schultz (Bill); brothers: Jim Stough (Allyson) and Matt Ozio (Kathy); his fiancé, Ashley Nash; nieces and nephews: Mason, Camille, Alex, Ava, Evan, Clarice, Olivia and Noelle.
Luke graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School in 2001, Penn State University in 2005, where he earned a BS in Psychology, and Johns Hopkins University in 2008, where he earned MA in Teaching.
He worked as a teacher before becoming an IT Specialist.
Luke enjoyed music, watching wrestling, Penn State and Pittsburgh sports, and spending time with Rickey, Riley, and Layla. He loved his four cats: Dave, Ziggy, Nova, and Cass (the kitty boys).
A Celebration of Life for Luke will be held on February 4, 2023 @ 2pm at the Smith Corner Church family center, 1955 Johnstown Rd, East Freedom, PA 16637.
