Lynn David Hughes

Lynn David Hughes, 62, of Puzzletown, passed away Sunday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Gerald Edward and Kathleen (Himes) Hughes.

Surviving are two daughters: Tiffany and Stephanie Fortune; five grandchildren; two sisters: Susan Barton and Karen Smith and husband, Kenneth; two brothers: Gerald and wife, Helen, and Kenneth and wife, Carrol; a sister-in-law, Gale; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Walter, and a brother-in-law, Robert.

Lynn graduated from Central High School in 1977 and worked in the autobody industry. He was a member of Newry Lutheran Church.

Lynn was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being outdoors. 

Friends will be received from 5 to 6pm on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 6pm.
