M. Jane (Kabella) Evans

March 29, 1926 – July 17, 2024

M. Jane (Kabella) Evans, 98, of Arizona and Altoona, passed away Wednesday.  She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Frank and Mabel (Taylor) Kabella.  She married Bernard Evans, who preceded her in death after sharing 36 years of marriage.

Surviving are a son, Allen and wife Cathy in NC, and a granddaughter, Carrie.  She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen in 2004, and seven siblings.

She graduated from Altoona High School around 1943 and retired from Sprint Telephone Co. in 1991 as a customer service agent.

Jane was of the Methodist faith.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and volunteering for the Chamber of Commerce.

Interment at New St. Mary Cemetery.
