Malinda L. (Dollar) Csonka

July 19, 1949 – Aug 7, 2022

Malinda L. (Dollar) Csonka, 73, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona, on her 51st wedding anniversary.  She was born in Cullman, AL, daughter of the late James E. and Icy Mae (Gaines) Dollar.

Surviving are her husband, John Csonka; two sons: Jamie and wife Anna in NY, and Michael of Chambersburg; a grandson, Jason; and a cousin, Diane Davis and husband Donald.

Malinda graduated from Cullman HS in 1968 and attended Jefferson State nursing program in Birmingham, AL.

She owned and operated Small World Daycare Center for many years and was a member of Grace Bible Church.

Malinda enjoyed reading the Bible aloud, writing music, and painting.  She sponsored children in Mexico and Appalachia, and the Asso. of Baptist for World Evangelism.

Friends will be received from 9:30am to 11am on Saturday, Aug 13, 2022, at Grace Bible Church, where a celebration of life will immediately follow at 11am.  Arrangements by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
