Margaret E. (Hollingsworth) Heimbach, 91, of Hollidaysburg, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday. She was born in Ashville, daughter of the late Charles and Edna (Seymour) Hollingsworth. She married Melvin Heimbach in 1945, he preceded her in death in 2010. Surviving are four daughters: Cheryl McKendree of Altoona, Bonnie Martellacci (Daniel) of Duncansville, Melissa Cunard (Robert) of New Hope, and Julie Taafe (William) of Cannonsburg; eleven grandchildren: Stephenie, Kirk, Denise, Reagan, Jake, Josh, Troy, Michael, Haley, Ryder, and Maura; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Delores “Tootie” Kelly; and her beloved friends and neighbors: Tom and Kim Fedesco. She was preceded in death by two granddaughters: Angel and Shannon; and two brothers: Paul and Eugene; and a son-in-law, Jerry
Peggy was a member of the Altoona High School Class of 1947, and was employed by Sylvania for many years. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ. She was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, PSU football, and the Pittsburgh Penguins, she watched every game. She also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Rocky Gap with her daughter, Bonnie. She loved playing bingo and was an avid reader.
All services are private at the convenience of the family. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
